Winter Garden Restaurant

There’s no denying that the space is visually impressive: a vast dining room with palm trees placed at the centre, and live music that adds warmth and a touch of understated elegance.Service & overall comfort:– No stands for handbags, so bags end up on the floor.– A delay with drinks at the beginning - we had to remind the staff twice that we had already ordered them.Food:– Good meat. The steak was cooked to the correct doneness, no complaints there, I enjoyed it– For dessert, a traditional British “pudding” -essentially a fruit and spice cake with dried fruits and nuts. Pleasant, but without any memorable highlights.-Also no complaints about special winter menu.As we were celebrating an occasion, we were also brought a complimentary dessert (no photo). Unfortunately, it was inedible -overly sweet, cloying, heavy on cream. One of those moments when nothing would have been better than this. It slightly spoiled the final impression.Overall, it’s a decent restaurant and a perfectly fine option for a special outing, especially if atmosphere plays an important role for you. The setting does most of the work here, and the food is solid enough not to distract from the experience. That said, there are some gaps in service that could be easily improved, and the dessert offering felt noticeably weaker. With more attention to these details, the overall impression would be much stronger.
