While London’s weather is finally treating us well, their terrace is the perfect spot to settle in with a glass of sparkling wine and, for example:-"Pressé de foie gras, chutney de cerises amère" - foie gras served with brioche;-"Vol au vent aux poireaux, gnocchi au fromage de chèvre, ail des ours et sauce crémée aux morilles". Vol-au-vent is a delicate puff pastry “basket” with different possible fillings. Here it came with leek, goat cheese gnocchi, asparagus, and a creamy morel mushroom sauce;-“Filet de plie rôti, brocolis, écrasé de rattes, sauce grenobloise” - roasted plaice fillet with broccoli and crushed potatoes. The fish was incredibly tender. The dessert, however, wasn’t really for me. The tableside flame preparation was definitely impressive, but taste- it was too overwhelmingly sweet. On my previous visit, I had their classic French Tarte Tatin and it was absolutely flawless - so I’d recommend choosing another dessert instead of "Crèpes Suzette à la Victor".Still..recommended.
