Piccolino (Russian is in comments)A very pleasant place with a beautiful interior. The downstairs area features a private dining room designed in the same warm, elegant tones as the main space—sophisticated yet understated luxury. The extensive kids’ menu is also a nice touch. It seemed like the perfect spot, and I was looking forward to my order. But I haven’t had such mixed feelings about a restaurant in a long time. The experience turned out to be quite contradictory, so let’s go through it step by step—from the good to the… not so good.If you ever find yourself craving lasagna—“Lasagne al Wagyu e Tartufo” (wagyu beef, truffle, béchamel, tomato, basil)📝 Wagyu beef – a premium, highly marbled beef from Japanese Wagyu cattle.— then don’t hesitate to visit Piccolino. Served piping hot, with a crispy top layer, sizzling in the dish, and boasting a perfect balance of filling and pasta sheets, this lasagna is a delight. You’ll enjoy it and leave satisfied. But if you decide to order a seafood pasta—“Tagliatelle al Salmone” (Argyll smoked salmon, asparagus, lemon & herb mascarpone)— you might start having questions. Why so little sauce? The pasta wasn’t bad, but it was on the dry side. And if you come with kids and order a pizza from the children’s menu, you’ll likely be disappointed—maybe even shocked. Such a strong start, only to end like this. The pizza was undercooked, which I pointed out to the waiter. The issue was immediately escalated to the manager, and they removed it from the bill. Customer service? Present. That’s a plus. However, one great lasagna is not enough for me to book a table here again for any occasion.I do not recommend Piccolino.
