Opened less than a year ago by two entrepreneurs from St. Petersburg, this bistro already feels very popular spot. Even though I arrived right at opening time, it quickly filled up and the room became lively. The space is designed in an industrial style - plenty of steel, clean minimalism, and a slightly hazy effect created by the heavy fabric on the walls. The atmosphere feels intimate and cosy.I happened to visit during a special dinner hosted by guest chefs from Australia, who presented a Thai-inspired menu for the evening. The standout dish was the▫️Grilled Wagyu Beef Brisket / Nahm Dtok / Mint, Tamarind / Roasted Rice Dressing. The doneness was perfect - juicy and incredibly tender, melting in the mouth. The most visually eye-catching presentation was▫️Crab / coconut relish / Yarra Valley salmon caviar / prawn cracker. A delicate crab mixture served to be spread onto the cracker - well balanced, and enjoyable. The most unusual element , the dessert:▫️Thai pudding / pandan kaya / coconut sorbet / crispy lotus flower. A rich pandan cream with a light herbal note, paired with refreshing sorbet and a crispy lotus topping. It’s the kind of dessert that isn’t overly sweet, feels interesting, and is exactly the type I love. The restaurant left a very positive impression and genuinely surprised me with its menu. I will definitely return to try the regular offering.
