Girafe Restaurant

Girafe Paris — stunning view, but the experience was mixed.The restaurant is undeniably beautiful: an incredible view of the Eiffel Tower, stylish interior, and a pleasant atmosphere. But the service and timing didn’t quite live up to the reputation.What I liked:— The crab sushi was delicious — fresh, delicate, and well-balanced.— My truffle pasta (with sauce) was great — rich and flavorful.What went wrong:— We ordered exactly the same pasta, but my friend’s came without sauce — just plain pasta with truffle on top. Looked nice, but was completely dry.— They brought hers first, and I only got mine after calling the waiter to ask where my dish was.— The starters and pasta arrived all at once — bread, sushi, and hot dishes came within a couple of minutes. It felt rushed, with no sense of course pacing.— Toward the end, they started clearing the table and brought the check right away, even though we still had time to sit and enjoy.Overall, the food was tasty, but the service didn’t match the price or the setting. You leave remembering not the flavor — but the feeling of being hurried.

Very pleasant inside, and a cozy terrace outside.The service is 10/10.At the starter, California lobster roll, definitely yes;There is no menu for kids as such, but the waiter kindly offered tomato spaghetti - not only the little guest liked it, but also us. Grilled octopus with mashed carrots, arugula, lemongrass. Properly cooked octopus, soft, perfectly complemented with vegetable ingredients.The sea bass fillet was quite mediocre, but the sauce cut the dish, so it turned out well. They brought it barely warm - perhaps it spoiled the impression. So this is the only one dish I do not recommend.Pavlova! I never understood its popularity, but here, the “Girafe” chefs presented it in a new interpretation, from thin meringue, non-subtle cream, and berries. It was amazing. The first Pavlova that I liked.In general, the restaurant is certainly recommended to visit, all the criteria that, in my opinion, define the restaurant converge here: atmosphere, good food, service, cleanliness.
